Today marks the 68th Anniversary of one of the most devastating days in U.S. history. On December 7, 1941, the Japanese military commenced an air attack on Pearl Harbor, a U.S. Military base located in Hawaii. The "Bombing" of Pearl Harbor killed over 2400 Americans. This was like the 9/11 of the 20th Century. The goal of the bombing was to disable our military forces so that we could not enter World War II; however, the plan backfired. The United States entered the war with a vengeance and played an integral part in the winning one of the biggest wars in our world's history.
