Director Tyler Perry was joined by Mary J. Blige and Taraji P. Henson at the New York premiere of "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" at the School of Visual Arts Theater on September 8, 2009 in New York City. TV personality Wendy Williams also attended the event, alongside Kwesi Boakye, Brian White, Demetria McKinney, Hope Olaide Wilson and a host of others actors and supporters who affiliate themselves with Perry.
