2008 was a bad year in music for the most part; Some artist didn't meet up to industry standards and for those who did....well unfortunately, they were slept on. As 2008 came to an end the music had gotten better, as it typically does in the 4th quarter. Earlier in the year, people didn't know what to expect from the new movement of the hipster nation or from the soulful songbirds of the U.K. Quite frankly, I believe it was a young, fresh and new era that people weren't totally convinced on.
