Susan Boyle is set to approach double-platinum status just four weeks after the release of her debut album, I dreamed A Dream, which is expected to sell around 500,000 to 600,000 copies next week. Meanwhile, Alicia is expected to sell somewhere between 330,000 and 350,000 copies of her 4th album, the Element of Freedom, as indicated by first day sales.I guess this is kind of a good thing. It definitely proves that image isn't everything, but why the hell is Susan Boyle still selling?!? And how does she end up beating out chicks who are 43.7 x prettier than she is over and over again. I guess this is a positive thing. It shows that Image is not the only thing that sells records.
