It's been an exhausting few years behind bars for 30 year-old former Bad Boy artist Shyne, whose real name is Jamal Barrow. Having spent most of his adulthood in jail, today reportedly marks Shyne's freedom.
After serving nearly 9 years in prison on attempted murder and assault charges, Shyne still has a mandatory probation period of two and half years to fulfill. While many are speculating Shyne’s first interview, it's uncertain if he's still signed to Diddy's Bad Boy label or not. Rumor has it though that Shyne may be signing to Jay-Z's Roc-Nation label. Who knows...I also hear Murder Inc. and Death Row Records are shooting him offers as well. Only time will tell.
