Video: Destiny’s Child '97 audition tape
From footage dating back to 1997, the original members of Destiny’s Child (Beyonce, Kelly, LaTavia and LeToya) sing “Wide Open” for executives at Columbia Records. It's said that this audition is what lead to the girls being signed, and ultimately becoming worldwide superstars, with the exception of LaTavia.
