Who The F*#K Is That?!: Drake

Rapper/Actor - Drake

What up yall?! The Virgo is at it once again, this time I'm introducing yet another NEW Column entitled Who The F*#k Is That?!
where we showcase artists who are fairly new to the game that we feel you should know about. Aight lemme tell yall how I stumbled upon Drake. So my homey Cat emailed me a mixtape by DJ Biggy Jiggy (Exclusive Tunes 47) because it had a song on it that I was tellin' him about. So I downloaded it, burned it and threw it in the whip. I had skimmed through the mixtape once on my PC but that was the extent of the airplay the mixtape got. Until the other day I was in the car, tired of listening to the radio and all the other CD's I'd been bumpin' and decided to put the mixtape in. Started off with the usual suspects Lil Wayne, Jada etc. but then track 11 comes on and hear this cat I know nothing about just murdering Kanye's "Say You Will" instrumental the 1st song on 808's & Heartbreak. It was Drake's "Say What's Real" And I'm trippin' because besides the song I did over that track, I had never heard anybody else spit over that beat. He goes on to spit just under 4 minutes straight with no hook just bar after bar of some of the slickest shyt I've heard in a good minute. Needless to say that track has been on repeat for past couple days(lol). I hollered at Kodak Boi, and asked if he'd heard of him and he put me up on a lil' of Drake's history to my surprise...lol...But I took upon myself to Google this cat and found out that he's been putting it work with the likes of Trey Songz and Lil Wayne on top of starring in Nickelodeon's Degrassi as the disabled Jimmy Brooks!! Here's what Wikipedia.com dug up!! Catch Up niggaz!! (Listen to the song "Say What's Real" while you read up on Drake) And yall crazy if yall think I'm not gonna post MY version too!! Yeah I spit...
