New J-hud phootshoot

So I got a lil' treat in my email today (Thanks Sean)....Jennifer Hudson was in Atlanta recently and had the opportunity to shoot with celebrity photographer Derek Blanks...I kid you not, if Jennifer's album is anything close to what she is giving me on these photos, Im game!! This shoot is "Sexy In the City meets Big-Girl Gorgeous"...Indeed indeed! So much better than that photoshop'ed album cover that surfed the net a few weeks ago. Jen, give me 17 joints (atleast), take me to church, give me a few slow jams, some party joints, NO INTERLUDES, these pictures in the album booklet.... And Im good!!! Shout out to Derek for killing these photos and making Jen shine like the star she is!

Oh, so you didnt know she had vocals 2 huh?

Am I the only one in love with Solange right now? She is giving me everything her sister did 2 summers ago. For anybody who doubted her vocal skills, check out this video of Solange serving dem vocals to your ears (check the note @ 3:28).....Yup, she took you back to ya grandma's basement!!

Sidenote: SERVED!

Its all about the benjamins baby!

I kid you not! Apparently, Charlize Theron and beau Stewart Townsend are hosting a party for André 3000. The Party is to be held at Barneys New York during fashion week, Sept. 4. The party will help Barneys kick off the rapper-singer’s men’s wear line "Benjamin Bixby".

In related news, Benjamin will be featured in the upcoming film “Battle in Seattle,” which Townsend wrote and directed and which also stars Theron and Woody Harrelson. Shout out to Stephanie for keeping me posted.

Ye' West- Champion

Off His 3rd album “Graduation”, here's kanye delivering "Champion"....The offical single off his muit-plat. album

Lil Cease "Workout 101"

Not too shabby Cease! Apparently Lil Cease Has shedded the fat and now is in great shape! The use-to-be chubby Cease has turned all that extra body fat into muscle. Cease is now a trainer in the New York area. Lil Cease will be following up with a video about the right foods to eat, and what his diet consists of. Music-wise, You can look for an album from him due out later this year.

Not a laughing matter

On a sad note, funny man Bernie Mac (born Bernard Jeffrey McCollough) died early Saturday morning at Northwestern Memorial Hospital due to complications of pneumonia. The comedian/actor died at the young age 50. Who would have thought pneumonia would have claimed this mans life. I'll always rememeber him for his shine on the "Kings Of Comedy". Come on yall, you know the line...say it with me now; "Him Downstairs" lmao!! You will truly be missed Bernie. I still have my DVD's to reflect back on some of his greatest standup performances never the less. Mac is survived by his wife Rhonda McCullough, their daughter, Je'Niece, a son-in-law and a granddaughter, Jasmine.

Do you know what this will mean to the black society? I dont think you get it yet! History has already been made with a BLACK MAN coming this far in the Presidential elecetion alone, so why not shoot for the stars! I urge you to get out & vote if you foresee the change I see.
