Sad, sad news! It seems like, even without being in the public eye, industry couples cannot stay together as one. Nas & Kelis are the latest couple headed for a divorce. “I can confirm that she has filed for divorce, we request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.” a spokesperson for Kelis told VIBE.
Nas and Kelis, who is 7-months pregnant, married in Atlanta on January 8, 2005 after dating two-years prior.

And just to think, I thought they were the perfect couple. Clearly, things were different behind close doors to my surprise. The prominent factor in any relation is trust. It's been said that Nas was a cheater and highly abusive (verbally) toward Kelis, which ultimately ended their relationship. Why can't all couples be like Jay & Bey?...But then again, whose to say that their relationship is all peachy behind close doors.
