Sadly, these VMAs didn't give fans that much to talk about. However, the good part is that the good parts were actually really really good. The small venue forced the entertainers to think outside of the box, therefore we were treated to groundbreaking performances equipped with: stand-out entrances, unexpected dance routines, great vocals (at most points), and ingenuity that we definitely didn't see last year. Although I was getting tired of seeing Britney walk up on that stage, I must admit, her physique is definitely back in full effect. However, my highlight of the show was Kanye's premiere of "Love Lockdown". With all of the leaks going on in the industry, how did they possibly keep this song from being released at all before his performance? Plus, the visuals were phenomenal and that pendant was unforgettable...
