Mr. Carter performs on August 1, 2008 in Washington, DC during the Africa Rising Music and Fashion Festival in the Kennedy Centre. Also on hand, Model Tyson Beckford who took part in the Chris Aires fashion show & Alec Wek Wek who played a part in the MOMO fashion show. Jay-Z and John Legend are headlining the event which campaigns for a different approach in Africa. Created by media mogul Nduka Obaigbena the tour officially launched in Nigeria with two shows in July. Washington is the third stop on a four city, three nation tour. The grand finale will take place in London's Royal Albert Hall on October 14th.
